an online magazine dedicated to becoming anything but typecast
Submissions
We accept submissions for the creative writing section of our magazine. Below is everything you need to know regarding our criteria and process. If you are interested in becoming a contributor for our political science articles, please head over to our "Join Our Team" page.
What type of writing do we accept?
We accept flash fiction, six-word stories, poetry, prose and everything in between (as long as it is no longer than three pages). We believe that creativity has no limits therefore we try not to impose too many boundaries. However, we will NOT under any circumstance accept submissions containing messages of racism, xenophobia, homophobia, sexism, or any hate speech.
Format of Submissions
Submissions should be single-spaced for poetry and prose and double-spaced for everything else. Everything should be in Times New Roman, size 12 font. Please do not submit pieces that require special formatting.
How to Submit
All pieces should be emailed to notatypemagazine@gmail.com. In the subject line please put the genre of your submission-submission, ex. POETRY-SUBMISSION. Please attach your work in a PDF format with the title of the work on the document bolded. You may also include a short third-person bio in your email.
